Fees and charges applied by the council
Exclusions – all commercially sensitive information e.g. quotations and tenders, loan documentation and insurance policies. With regard to quotations and tenders, this information is treated as confidential to ensure that the whole tender process is fair i.e. if tender information is released to a third party prior to the end of the tender period those who initially submitted tenders could be undercut and/or unfairly disadvantaged.



As a public authority Steeple Ashton Parish Council has a duty placed upon it by the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to adopt and maintain a publication scheme The above list is a list of the classes of information which the council will make available to members of the public by prior appointment.
Information is available upon written request to the clerk, either for inspection of the original before a Parish Council meeting (in the Village Hall) or as a printed facsimile. Charges for the facsimiles are agreed at 10p per side from Parish Council sourced documents or 20p per side for other sourced documents. Postage and packing will be charged at 50p up to 50g weight, above that 50p plus postage at cost.
