Steeple Ashton Attached to Melksham

Despite Steeple Ashton having always been linked to Trowbridge, Steeple Ashton and the other villages in the Sumerham Ward

have now been attached to the Melksham Area Board. This was decided at a meeting of the Implementation Executive.

The Parish Council were not consulted on this matter. This will mean that Policing and Area Board decisions

will now come from Melksham!
